Los Bukis Add Second Los Angeles Date to Farewell Run, Marking Emotional Close to Historic Reunion

Los Bukis, the legendary Mexican band whose 2021 reunion set off a wave of nostalgia across the Americas, has added a second Los Angeles show to what they are calling the final chapter of their celebrated comeback. The group will return to SoFi Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, following the rapid sellout of their previously announced Feb. 20 performance.

The added date deepens the symbolic weight of the run, titled “¡Tuyos por Siempre! El Gran Cierre de un Ciclo.” The shows mark the culmination of a reunion that has drawn nearly 40 sold-out stadium crowds since 2021 and included a groundbreaking all-Spanish residency in Las Vegas. For millions of fans, the tour has delivered an emotional revival of a band that previously spent more than two decades apart.

Their return to SoFi Stadium carries special resonance. It was on that same stage in 2021 that Los Bukis—led by composer and vocalist Marco Antonio Solís—reunited publicly for the first time in 25 years, becoming the first Latin artists ever to perform at the newly opened venue. That moment sparked a historic resurgence of “Bukimanía,” reaffirming the group’s enduring connection with audiences across generations.

Now, they say, the closing of the cycle must happen where it began.

“These concerts are a celebration and a gesture of gratitude,” the band said in the announcement, inviting fans to join them for what they describe as a once-in-a-lifetime farewell. The Los Angeles shows, along with a separate date in Houston, will be the final three opportunities to experience the group live.

Formed in the 1970s, Los Bukis have long held a defining place in Latin American music, shaping the soundtrack of multiple generations with their mix of romantic ballads, cumbia, and soul-searching lyrics. Their catalog includes classics such as “Quiéreme,” “Yo Te Necesito,” “Mi Najayita,” “Falso Amor,” “Ladrón de Buena Suerte,” and “Morenita,” as well as the enduring anthem “Tu Cárcel.” Their work has earned them major industry accolades, from Premios Lo Nuestro honors to GRAMMY® nominations.

The band promises the 2026 performances will take fans on a sweeping emotional journey through decades of hits—one last celebration of a legacy cemented both in the 20th century and in the years following their reunion.
