Jimuel Pacquiao gets a draw during Manny Pacquiao Promotions U.S. Debut at Pechanga Resort Casino

Last updated on December 2, 2025

TEMECULA.- Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP) made a statement in its U.S. debut at the sold-out Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, Calif., treating fans and ESPN Deportes viewers to a night of high-energy action and breakout performances.

Undefeated rising star Lazaro Lorenzana (19-0, 13 KOs) captured the WBC Regional Middleweight Championship with a dominant 10-round unanimous decision over veteran Luis Arias (22-6-1, 17 KOs).

Fighting just his second bout on U.S. soil, the San Diego native controlled the pace from the opening bell, dropping only three rounds on the judges’ scorecards. Arias, a former IBF USBA Champion, entered the fight while finishing coursework to obtain his mortgage license—adding an unusual twist to the lead-up.

Jimuel Pacquiao gets a majority draw

The evening marked a new chapter for the legendary Pacquiao name, as Jimuel Pacquiao (0-0-1)—Manny’s eldest son—made his highly anticipated professional debut. In a thrilling four-round war, he battled Chicago’s Brendan Lally (0-0-1) to a majority draw, captivating the Pechanga crowd.

Both fighters traded momentum and heavy shots throughout the bout. Two judges scored it 38-38, with each fighter sweeping two rounds. The third judge gave Pacquiao a narrow edge.

Jimuel entered the ring after welcoming his newborn daughter just a week earlier—making Manny Pacquiao a first-time grandfather. Lally, a high school English teacher who also won the 2022 U.S. Intercollegiate 140-lb national title, proved he is as skilled as he is resilient.

Washington Secures WBC USA Light Flyweight Title

In the first title fight of the night, southpaw standout Terry Washington (6-0, 5 KOs) captured the WBC USA Light Flyweight Championship with a dominant 10-round shutout over Peru’s Ricardo Astuvilca (23-5, 5 KOs).
