Fans eager to attend the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games will soon get their first chance to secure tickets, as organizers announced that registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw will open Jan. 14, 2026.
The registration marks the official starting point of the ticketing process for all Olympic sports and gives fans the opportunity to secure a designated time slot to purchase tickets through LA28’s official tickets page. Organizers emphasized that registering for the draw is required for anyone interested in buying tickets, though registration itself does not guarantee a purchase.
Single-event tickets for the LA28 Games will start at $28, a price point officials say reflects the organizing committee’s commitment to accessibility and affordability. A range of ticket options will be available, allowing fans to attend events across the full Olympic program.
Residents of the greater Los Angeles area and Oklahoma City will have access to a special early purchase window if they register for the ticket draw. Oklahoma City is scheduled to host softball competitions during the Games, making it one of several sites outside Southern California to stage Olympic events.
LA28 officials said the ticketing process will be powered by AXS and EVENTIM, the Games’ official ticketing service providers. Both companies have previously supported large international sporting events and are expected to handle high demand from domestic and international fans.
In addition to standard event tickets, fans will also be able to purchase ticket-inclusive hospitality packages beginning in 2026. Those premium offerings will be sold through On Location, the official hospitality provider for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and are expected to include enhanced seating, exclusive services and curated experiences tied to the Games.
Organizers said more information about venues, schedules and ticket categories will be released closer to the start of registration. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to sign up early to ensure eligibility for the ticket draw.
Ticket sales for the Paralympic Games will follow on a separate timeline, with purchases expected to begin in 2027.
The LA28 Olympic Games are scheduled for the summer of 2028, returning the Olympics to Los Angeles for the third time after previous Games in 1932 and 1984. Events will be held across Los Angeles and surrounding communities, with select competitions hosted in Oklahoma City.
